Israelis sneak into Syrian refugee camps in Jordan to provide aid

Israel’s Channel 2 news accompanies a group of Israelis who are regularly going to Syrian refugee camps in Jordan. Officially, Jordan does not allow Israelis to help Syrians and has threatened those that do so with imprisonment.

These groups provide much needed supplies for refugees, such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, and other basic necessities. Israeli citizens and business donate these supplies, giving far more assistance to Syrian refugees than other Arab nations.

When the group arrived at one refugee camp a woman asked if they where Americans. The reporter responded they were Israelis, to which the woman responded, “I have no problem with Israel, let them be from anywhere. My God bless you. May God bless Israel.”
